Job Summary:

STS Aviation Services is seeking a skilled B1 Mechanic to join their team on a contract basis until the end of November. The successful candidate will be based at the Norwich Line station and will be responsible for carrying out line maintenance activities in accordance with Part 145 maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of company approvals
  • Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
  • Order spares and complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components
  • Record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings
  • Support ad-hoc AOG requirements
  • Defect rectification on inbound aircraft
  • Meet and greet inbound aircraft and de-brief the crew
  • Carry out engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed
Requirements:
  • Preferred previous line maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
