Gregory Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of bakery products to our valued customers across the South of England.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering a diverse range of bakery goods to retail outlets, wholesale businesses, and convenience stores.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with care and precision.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by interacting with clients at delivery points and managing their expectations effectively.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, as the role may involve early starts, tail-lift operation, and manual handling of bread deliveries.
  • Actively participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Essential Requirements:

  • Possess a valid UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Exhibit a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, be confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Have a good understanding of geographical locations within your assigned area.
  • Be physically fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
