Job Title: Senior Clinical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Scientist to join our team at Synnovis Analytics. As a Senior Clinical Scientist, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of mass spectrometry and chromatography-based techniques for the diagnosis and monitoring of genetic diseases in metabolic pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation and validation of patient results
  • Manual sample preparation techniques
  • Method development and validation
  • Teaching and training of scientific, medical, and technical staff
Requirements:
  • BSc in Biochemistry or related subject
  • MSc in Clinical Biochemistry
  • State Registered Clinical Scientist (Health and Care Professions Council)
  • Experience of working in a Clinical Biochemistry department
  • Manual sample preparation techniques
  • Method development and validation
