As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the logistics of our operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our contracts team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage inventory levels and track manufactured jobs to ensure efficient production and delivery.
  • Review and negotiate haulage rates with logistics providers.
  • Book and manage transportation services, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
  • Monitor and report on any additional costs incurred during delivery, such as waiting times or cancellations.
  • Work closely with our factories to ensure efficient production and minimize issues.
  • Organize trailer loading and issue work sheets to factories for daily yard work.
  • Highlight any non-conformance reports (NCRs) to the logistics manager.

Requirements:

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is essential.

· Previous experience with a CRM system is beneficial, but training will be provided.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
