Support Services Coordinator

Position: Social Care Worker
Salary: £14,479 - £15,888 per annum, inclusive of £1,371 per annum DIA
As a dedicated member of our team, you will play a crucial role in empowering adults with support needs to enhance their independence and achieve their personal goals. Your responsibilities will encompass various environments, including providing overnight assistance when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the rights and dignity of individuals with support needs.
- Demonstrate effective listening and clear communication skills.
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess an SVQ Level III in Care (or an equivalent qualification). If you do not have this qualification, you must be willing to obtain it within 36 months of registering with the relevant regulatory body.
Additional Information:
This position requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for work involving adults. The salary includes a Distant Islands Allowance, and appointments will be made at the first point of the grade with opportunities for annual progression.
