We are conducting a recruitment initiative for a prominent consultancy seeking a File Automation Engineer to contribute to a significant remote project.


Role Responsibilities:
File Storage Management

In this position, you will:

Utilize OCUM-AIQ, Trellix AV, and StorageX tools for data migration across approximately 300 servers.
Serve as a NAS Infrastructure Patching Automation Engineer tasked with developing a comprehensive patching solution.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled automation engineer responsible for designing and executing an automated patching pipeline for servers within our extensive NetApp NAS framework.

This role aims to improve our service level agreements concerning critical vulnerabilities.
Architect and construct a patching pipeline tailored for our expansive NetApp server infrastructure.
Integrate the patching pipeline with current vulnerability scanning, management dashboards, and security tools.
Comply with change management protocols - focusing on change management automation.
Develop and sustain documentation detailing the patching architecture.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

- Expertise in NetApp administration and troubleshooting, including ONTAPI (NCDA preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell and Python
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
- Background in integrating patching workflows with NetApp OnCommand Unified Manager and Active IQ
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security principles, vulnerability management, and secure patch deployment in regulated settings.
- Familiarity with Trellix AV, OCUM-AIQ, and StorageX
- Experience in a large enterprise environment managing hundreds of servers.
