Job Summary:

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team. As a key member of the plant maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of heavy plant vehicles and machinery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on heavy plant vehicles and machinery, including Diggers, Dumpers, and Excavators, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Repairs and Rebuilds: Carry out repairs and rebuilds as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair faults on heavy plant vehicles and machinery.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A professionally recognized qualification in Heavy Vehicle/Plant Maintenance and Repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) would be ideal but is not essential.
  • CSCS Card: A CSCS card will be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role within the last 2 years.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
