Senior PR Executive

Wood Mackenzie Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior PR Executive to join our global communications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global PR strategy that aligns with our energy transition marketing and business strategies.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the global Upstream, Oil & Gas PR strategy, working closely with key stakeholders across marketing and the wider team to maximize impact and ensure alignment with WoodMac's growth ambitions.
- Efficiently manage incoming media enquiries for EMEA, ensuring timely and effective responses to maintain a positive reputation.
- Create engaging content and story angles to drive greater awareness around specific issues or further engagement with specific audiences, including press releases, media pitches, executive communications, and social media programming.
- Publish content on our website, social channels, blogs, and other outlets, leveraging our industry-leading research, data, and analysis to write the news and drive coverage in target media.
- Use data to report, derive insights, and improve PR performance across digital channels, ensuring a strong return on investment for our PR efforts.
- Raise the profile of subject matter experts across WoodMac and support them to grow their personal brands via the media, leveraging our expertise to drive thought leadership and industry recognition.
- Provide consultancy and support to the business to determine when PR will add value to marketing and commercially focused activities, ensuring a seamless integration of PR and marketing efforts.
To be successful in this role, you will be a communications professional with a track record of success, preferably with experience across a range of media outlets. You will have a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a relevant field, and at least 10 years of proven experience in PR. You will be able to develop engaging and effective PR campaigns, build relationships with journalists and editorial teams, and leverage social media tools and channels to drive engagement and awareness.
We are a hybrid working company, and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment. While this is expected to be a full-time role, flexible working arrangements will be considered. Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
