Credit and Collections Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Credit and Collections Manager at Future PLC, a global media company.
This role plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial health of our organisation by overseeing the entire credit granting process and ensuring timely payment collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement forward-thinking credit policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and approve credit applications, ensuring agile decision-making.
- Set and adapt credit limits and terms in response to market conditions.
- Monitor customer accounts proactively to manage and mitigate credit risk effectively.
- Oversee a dynamic collections process, ensuring rapid and efficient recovery of receivables.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to reduce delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate seamlessly with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes.
- Prepare and present insightful reports on collections performance, leveraging data analytics.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing a busy Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Collections team.
- Good technical skills that include Excel, reporting writing, and dashboard creation.
- Preferably a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).
- An excellent communicator.
- Demonstration of commercial awareness.
- Passion for developing people.
