Senior Care Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Dene Place Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, while also inspiring and developing your team to be their best every day.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Responsible for issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers and training new staff members.
- Build relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assist residents with personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.
- NVQ3 in care or working towards, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of the rewards and challenges.
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.72, dependent on experience.
- A full-time contract with 44 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance.
