As a key member of the support staff, you will work closely with students with Complex Needs, providing individualized support and assistance to ensure their academic and personal success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students within the classroom, promoting engagement and interaction.
  • Assist students with reading, writing, and other academic tasks, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver lessons, ensuring a cohesive and effective educational experience.
  • Support students with physical needs, including moving, handling, and hoisting, as required.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's experience working in a school setting.
  • A valid full UK driving license.
  • A good understanding of supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
