Trading Executive

This successful travel company sells a diverse range of luxury worldwide, package, and tailor-made holidays. They are looking for a Pricing Executive to join their team at their friendly offices in West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse sales and pricing data to ensure competitiveness and achieve profitability targets.
  • Carry out competitor pricing analysis to inform commercial decisions.
  • Respond to price match and pricing queries, reviewing contracts and applying calculations.
  • Analyse booking patterns to support commercial decisions in the pricing of holidays.
  • Support in identifying system errors, user testing, and implementation of projects as requested.
  • Loading of costings into the reservation system.
  • Support with testing external data feeds into the reservation system.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a yield, pricing, revenue management, or commercial role, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent spoken and written English.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, outgoing approach.
  • Ability to learn new procedures and business disciplines.
  • Highly organised with ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload and achieve set objectives and targets.
Benefits:
  • Salary £25k to £29k depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working after probationary period, currently 4 days in the office, 1 day at home.
  • Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30.
  • Travel opportunities.
