Mackenzie Jones, a leading educational institution, is in search of a dedicated IT Support Engineer at the 2nd and 3rd line level. This role is essential in providing technical assistance to over 35 staff members and 100 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support and system administration.
- Manage connectivity and configuration for MacOS and iOS devices.
- Support an Apple and JAMF environment.
- Assist with Office 365 and Google Workspace support.
- Oversee end-user devices including Windows laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets.
- Handle hardware and software support, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
- Maintain networking systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, SSL, and IPSec, with knowledge of wireless switches.
- Utilize MDM solutions such as JAMF.
- Support audio/visual equipment, including projectors and interactive displays.
- Implement security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, web filters, and security policies.
- Provide VOIP communications and telephony support.
- Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach.
Working Hours:
This position requires on-site presence during term time from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility during school holidays.
