About the Role
As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs. Your role will involve creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, developing and implementing personalized learning plans, and collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to students with autism and ADHD
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting students
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, a strong understanding of autism and ADHD, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
