We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Review and confirm VAT compliance
  • Manage supplier queries and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of financial risks and take proactive measures to protect the business
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to ensure seamless processing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to suppliers
  • Raise faster payment documentation as directed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Assistant principles
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • AAT qualified or equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
