Job Title: AWS DevOps Platform Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Kubernetes environment, ensuring the health and performance of the environment, and planning for future capacity needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Kubernetes environment and ensure the health and performance of the environment
  • Plan for future capacity needs and ensure the scalability of the environment
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to provide help and support for containers and automation activities
  • Support the development and deployment of containerized applications
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Python, and Gitlab
  • Highly proficient with Linux OS and strong skills in using command line tools and scripting (bash, python) for automation tasks
  • Strong understanding of automation tools like Ansible to automate deployment and configuration tasks
  • Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools to ensure continuity of service and expertise in security best practices for configuring and maintaining the Kubernetes platform and the running containers
  • Support internal colleagues to define containerized architectures, deploy, debug, and optimize across the organization
