We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our prestigious client's team based in Northern Ireland. Our client specializes in interior and refurbishment projects, earning a stellar reputation for delivering high-end luxury projects across various sectors, including residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Contracts Manager who is proactive and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing contract details, tender documents, and pre-construction information.
- Creating construction programs and information release schedules based on tender programs.
- Overseeing site mobilization and ensuring proper site setup.
- Conducting pre-start meetings with subcontractors.
- Regular travel to project sites.
- Collaborating closely with project Quantity Surveyors and Site Managers to ensure cost control.
- Managing approved subcontractors to maintain health and safety standards and meet program requirements.
- Monitoring live projects for quality of work, cost, and program implications.
- Conducting regular site inspections.
- Attending project meetings and preparing progress reports.
- Demonstrating a proactive attitude to meet client requirements.
- Applying comprehensive contractual knowledge of JCT & D&B Contracts.
- Overseeing snag and de-snag processes using the SnagR system.
- Organizing the compilation and issuance of all CDM H&S and O&M manuals.
- Participating in project handovers and demonstrations.
- Conducting post-contract wash-up meetings.
