We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team at the Wellingborough Depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of Linde forklifts, ensuring they are in top working condition.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer or vehicle technician to join our team and take on a challenging role. You will be working with a range of equipment, from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and rectify faults, as well as undertake preventative maintenance on our Linde forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair faults on Linde forklifts
- Perform preventative maintenance on our fleet of forklifts
- Work with a range of equipment, including pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance
- Experience in mechanical engineering or vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
- IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- Full UK driving licence
