Job Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the direction of testing across a suite of products at Venchr, a leading business in workplace automation software. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership-focused role, working closely with the Head of Engineering to scale the team and shape the QA function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the automation framework, leveraging expertise in JavaScript-centric codebases and tools like Playwright, Jest, and Mocha.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of quality and excellence within the QA team, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging innovation.
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering to develop and execute a strategic plan for the QA function, aligning with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in testing and automation, with a strong background in JavaScript-centric codebases.
  • Expertise in tools like Playwright, Jest, and Mocha, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product.
