Job Summary:

Petrofac is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Contractor to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and engineers on project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor the Technical Delivery Report (TDR) to ensure project progress and milestones are met.
  • Review and expedite project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Support engineering leads in delivering project objectives and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Provide interface between management and engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support proposal development, including narrative, background data sourcing, and contract writing.
  • Provide additional support as requested by project managers, engineering managers, or corporate line managers.

Deliverables:

  • Input into and review of:
    • Project execution schedule, plan
    • Scope of work
    • Weekly and monthly reports
    • Risk and assumptions registers
    • TQ and STQ register
    • Cost estimate
    • Project close-out report
  • Attendance at and input to:
    • Weekly meetings
    • Workshops, including HAZOP, constructability, etc.
    • Interface and other client meetings
    • Internal project and management meetings

Requirements:

Petrofac is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer Contractor who can provide technical support and guidance to our project managers and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
