Employment Type: Permanent - Full time

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our team in executing civil infrastructure projects within the Power sector.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Executing tasks in accordance with established safety protocols, including the SSoW, permits, and other relevant documentation. Providing constructive feedback on these documents and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintaining awareness of the work environment, including identifying and reporting issues related to equipment and site conditions. You will be empowered to halt operations if they deviate from the approved Method Statement and Risk Assessment.
  • Safely operating machinery and conducting pre-operation inspections.
  • Participating in all Risk Assessments, Safety updates, Toolbox Talks, and Daily Activity briefings.
  • Assisting the site management team in fulfilling their responsibilities as Principal Contractor by ensuring compliance with procedures, verifying the competence of team members, and confirming the appropriate use of PPE, tools, and equipment.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role.
  • A valid CSCS card / EUSR SHEA Power or equivalent foundational health and safety knowledge.
  • A solid understanding of technical requirements and operational practices.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
