Detail2Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to management and site leaders on health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are current and briefed to relevant staff.
- Coordinate and carry out safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Implement and maintain the BRC-IOP hygiene standard, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a positive health and safety culture within the site.
- Review and update health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a printing and packaging industry.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
