Physiotherapist Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Children's Therapy Service at East Cheshire NHS Trust. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Physio intervention to children in various settings within the East Cheshire NHS locality.
Main Responsibilities- Work with children and young people with a range of needs in various settings, including clinics, schools, special schools, and nurseries.
- Collaborate with parents, educational staff, and other allied health professionals to provide a coordinated service to children/young people in all settings.
- Have knowledge and experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy, demonstrating relevant experience and post-registration training.
- HCPC registration.
- Attendance at degree level post-graduate courses relevant to the specialist area or working towards this.
- Post-registration knowledge relevant to Paediatric Physiotherapy and evidenced by CPD.
- Awareness of national and local priorities and changing trends in the specialist area.
- Communication skills training.
- Clinical educators training.
- Awareness of Paediatric assessment tools.
- Experience of contributing to the EHCP process.
- Knowledge of children's specialist equipment.
