The Role:
As a Senior Underwriter at THC Recruitment Ltd, you will be responsible for assessing consumer credit applications from customers and making informed lending decisions in accordance with the company's lending policies. Underwriters must assess customers' ability to repay loans, making credit decisions in line with company criteria, credit policy, and within service level agreements to ensure excellent customer journeys.
- Underwrite all customer types and score bands within defined risk policy guidelines.
- Verify legal documentation for accuracy.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial information.
- Previous experience in financial services as an underwriter.
- Knowledge of regulations relating to Consumer Duty, Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Directive, and Consumer Credit Act.
