We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 LGV driver to join our team at ARC (Norwich) Limited. As a Class 1 LGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting shipping containers to and from various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport shipping containers to and from various locations, adhering to strict safety and efficiency protocols.
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport containers between ports, depots, and customer locations, maintaining accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues to the maintenance team to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Comply with all road safety regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Assist with loading and unloading containers as necessary, ensuring efficient and safe container handling.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (Category CE) driving license.
  • Preferably a clean driving licence with no serious traffic offences.
