About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SMT Set-up Operative to join our team at Custom Interconnect LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Surface Mount Machine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare SMT kits for production, ensuring all necessary components are present and accounted for.
  • Control and manage SMT kits, de-kitting returns, and communicating with the Stores team to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Perform administrative tasks using computer software, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Production/Assembly experience or similar is highly desirable.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with fine tools and microscopes is an asset.
