The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a skilled Branded Video Editor to join our team. As a key member of our Content team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that showcases our humanitarian work and inspires action.
Key Responsibilities:- Post-production editing of video deliverables, including editing together raw footage and audio, photo stills, graphics, and archival video.
- Collaboration with the Content team, Creative & Content Studio, and stakeholders on creative idea pitches and delivering on creative briefs.
- Source broll for video projects, campaigns, external vendors, and partners via internal library and paid footage.
- Maintenance and addition of vendor talent roster, including videographers, editors, sound engineers, graphic artists, narrators, translators, transcription services, musicians, and colorists.
- Support in storage and organization of all video content, backups, and gear updates/repairs/rentals, as well as procurement of new equipment meeting standards.
- Ensuring videos meet brand guidelines and maintaining a portfolio of work, including short-form social media videos, long-form documentary style, commercials, and/or fundraising appeals.
- Utilization of technical skills and software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects, as well as experience in sound design, color correction/grading, video quality enhancement, and/or graphics/animation.
- Supporting projects and collaborating with multiple internal and external partners, balancing multiple projects on deadlines, and possessing strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in non-fiction writing/journalism and experience in supporting projects and collaborating with multiple internal and external partners.

- Proficient in technical skills and software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects.
- Experience in sound design, color correction/grading, video quality enhancement, and/or graphics/animation.
