Position:
Senior Urban Planner

Location:
Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)

Salary:
£50k, commensurate with experience

Contract:
Full-time, Permanent

The Role
In your capacity as a Senior Urban Planner, you will be instrumental in managing a variety of high-profile initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Directing the planning process for multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful and timely delivery.


Client Relations:
Engaging confidently with clients to ascertain their requirements, offering expert guidance, and fostering strong, enduring partnerships.

Business Growth:
Proactively identifying and pursuing new business avenues to expand our clientele.

Team Leadership:
Mentoring and supporting junior team members, sharing your knowledge, and aiding in their professional growth.

Requirements

Experience:

Extensive experience in planning, whether in consultancy or local authority settings, with a proven history of managing diverse projects.

Experience in residential, commercial, and retail sectors is highly advantageous.

Qualifications:
RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) membership or eligibility for membership.

Skills:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strong project management and organizational skills.

Attributes:
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a meticulous attention to detail. A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and take initiative.
