Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Sub-Agent to join our team at Kier Group and contribute to the success of our Oxford Station project.

About the Role

As a Sub-Agent, you will work closely with our Site Agent to manage a significant section of the project, ensuring technical compliance with the design specification and delivering the project safely, on time, and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Support the Site Agent in managing the project, including cost management, commercial awareness, and performance excellence.
  • Health and Safety: Promote integrated working with other team members to create a one-team ethos, and support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
  • Team Development: Develop and support team members, and contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Programme Management: Create a programme to plan and measure the weekly/monthly lookahead, ensuring effective project delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience: You will have knowledge and experience of main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably from a Utilities or comparable settings.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive approach to work, and an enthusiastic, collaborative approach. Ability to work as part of a team to deliver and commercial/Contractual awareness.
  • Qualifications: Working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE and hold relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience.
