Role Overview: The primary objective of this position is to oversee and guide site-based personnel in their daily operations to ensure project completion aligns with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Planning Engineer to establish and monitor performance metrics that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Site Managers in promoting service delivery that meets client recognition and maintains essential performance targets.
  • Develop and review necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring thorough evaluation before and after project execution.
  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of performance improvement across diverse functional groups.
  • Achieve Approved Person (AP) certification concerning Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and Isolation Safety Rules (ISR) as relevant to the role.
  • Possess a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card along with SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications, demonstrating a solid background in supervisory roles and safety management within construction environments.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, as applicable to the position.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and/or P6 Primavera planning software.
  • Familiarity with the NEC form of contract is advantageous.
  • Strong IT capabilities, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Experience in Water/Waste Water sectors is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving License.
