Job Title: Healthcare Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Service Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our MS Specialist Nurses, Consultants, and Clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to MS Specialist Nurses, Consultants, and Clinical teams, including proofreading, minute-taking, and diary management.
  • Support MS Nurses with their prescriptions and complete letters in a timely manner to ensure updates are notified to GPs and patients.
  • Organize and book MS clinics and MDT Meetings, maintaining oversight of all nurse-led clinics to ensure all slots are utilized.
  • Provide excellent customer care, including communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy.
  • Use multiple computer systems, including EPIC (MyCare) and MS Office applications, as required within the department.
  • Adhere to Trust policies, systems, and procedures, including the Trust's Confidentiality policy.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in dealing with service users on the telephone.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a busy team and use your own initiative to meet the changing needs of the service.
