Corporate Credit Senior Analyst or Associate

Our client, a leading asset management and investment advisory firm, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Credit Senior Analyst or Associate to manage a book of loans predominantly backed by Non-performing Loan portfolios originated by a major global investment bank.

Key Responsibilities and Experience
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of corporate credit analysis, including financial statement analysis and credit metrics.
  • Manage a portfolio of loans, conducting regular collateral checks, credit analysis, and monitoring portfolio companies' performance.
  • Utilize VBA to automate monthly/quarterly portfolio reporting and leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze large data sets.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide expert credit advice and support, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to inform credit decisions and risk management strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of problematic underlying loans, identifying key credit risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate loan asset management, portfolio management, credit risk, and/or corporate lending.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound credit decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex credit information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
