English and MFL Academic Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English and MFL academic mentor to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves. As a specialist in both English and Modern Foreign Languages, you will be responsible for mentoring GCSE students in a secondary school in Havering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality academic support to GCSE students in English and MFL
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and learning resources
  • Work closely with teachers to ensure seamless integration with the curriculum
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
  • Contribute to the development of the school's English and MFL departments

Requirements:

  • First Class degree in English or MFL from a top 20 UK university
  • A/A A Level grades in English and MFL
  • Proven experience in teaching or mentoring GCSE students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
