Health and Safety Manager

The Austin Company's UK office is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Watford, UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on health and safety best practices
  • Collaborate with the Projects Director to ensure health and safety is integrated into project planning and delivery
  • Record and investigate incidents and accidents, and implement recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in health and safety management in the UK construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel throughout the UK
