The Austin Company's UK office is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Watford, UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on health and safety best practices
- Collaborate with the Projects Director to ensure health and safety is integrated into project planning and delivery
- Record and investigate incidents and accidents, and implement recommendations for improvement
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in health and safety management in the UK construction sector
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel throughout the UK
