Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the West Midlands. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and functional safety requirements for bespoke machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement project-commissioning strategies, ensuring their effective implementation.
2. Support tendering activities, assisting in the creation of proposal estimations, and providing input on equipment, test equipment, and bespoke tools.
3. Collaborate with Project Managers to issue claims for scope of work changes, cost impact, time impact, and risk quantifications.
4. Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks in the area of responsibility.
5. Interpret Functional and Safety Functional Requirements.
6. Compile Test, Installation, and Commissioning Quality Plans.
7. Prepare test reports.
8. Implement UK and European H&S legislation and appropriate standards.
9. Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures.
10. Liaise with Engineering Design, Procurement, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure compliance and performance.

Requirements:

• Ability to write FDS from scratch.
• Hunger to deliver high-tech machinery to client specifications.
