About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team at Sheridans, a leading London law firm. As an Employment Solicitor, you will play a key role in advising clients on employment law matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and collective matters such as TUPE and outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex employment law matters and projects, both contentious and non-contentious
  • Advise on employment law issues, including grievance and disciplinary matters, investigations, mediation, and dismissals
  • Provide strategic advice on current employment law and stay up-to-date with any employment law changes
  • Work closely with the Partners and wider team to deliver high-quality advice to clients
  • Support the Employment and Business Immigration Group in understanding clients' businesses, their culture, and their objectives
Requirements
  • Qualified as a solicitor within England & Wales
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in employment law gained from a leading City practice
  • Strong commercial awareness and technical expertise in employment law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience liaising with senior internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work confidentially and remain discreet at all times
