Classroom Support Assistant

Are you passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience in a classroom setting? Academics Ltd is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team in Calne.
We are working with excellent secondary schools in and around the Calne area who are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to start in September 2024. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to oversee lessons, support students' learning, and maintain the school's high standards for behaviour when teacher colleagues are absent.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage student behaviour to ensure a constructive learning environment
- Oversee work set by the class teacher
- Act as a role model and develop positive relationships with students and staff
- Commit to safeguarding and health and safety of students
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for supporting students' learning
- Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
