Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed HSE / SHEQ Advisor to support our business in giving guidance, support, advice, and governance on all SHEQ related subjects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and implement the SHEQ strategy to ensure effective governance and compliance.
  • Assist and promote the local and external audit programme to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help ensure the business is compliant with all HSES Regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Assist in the identification of site SHEQ training needs to upskill and develop the business operational teams.
  • Support SHEQ initiatives and innovations across the business to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Communicate and engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Support the business during near miss/incident/accident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate would hold, or be working towards, a relevant professional qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Prior experience in SHEQ, health and safety, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience of reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for managers and clients.
