About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Bere Clinic, a CAMHS Tier 4 eating disorder service for young people aged 12-18. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with eating disorders and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and oversee the smooth running of a shift, ensuring the wellbeing of all service users.
  • Respond to any challenges or concerns and supervise support staff.
  • Organise activities, administer medication, communicate with families and professionals, and oversee daily reports and budgets.
  • Complete financial audits and H&S checks.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or extensive care experience from a learning disability and autism residential setting.
  • Leadership skills and experience.
  • Strong empathy and a caring and compassionate nature.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, and a good sense of humour.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
  • Positive and professional approach.
  • Reliability, flexibility, hard work, and honesty.
