Job Summary:

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client to recruit Van Delivery Drivers to join their team on a long-term basis. As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers' homes or flats, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver, and completing paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to customers' homes or flats
  • Work with an experienced driver's mate or driver
  • Unload goods and complete paperwork
  • Heavy lifting is involved

Requirements:

  • Have a car licence Cat. B. Min 6 months exp
  • Have excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Be able to work long days as required
  • Have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before starting
  • Have held your licence a minimum 6 months. No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company as a Van Delivery Driver. You will have the chance to gain your 7.5t licence, CPC, and tacho card for free if you want. The role involves working a 5-day rota with 3 days off, with shifts starting at 07.00am and finishing at varying times. The pay rate is £15.18 P/H paye umbrella and £12.40 P/H paye, with OT X 1.5. Permanent pay is circa £35,000 + benefits + 30 days annual leave.
