Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
A proficient Quality Assurance Inspector is sought for a leading supplier to high-tech sectors within the UK's Oxford/Cambridge Arc of Innovation and Technology. This role supports industries such as Nuclear Fusion, Space Technologies, Medical Innovations, and Formula 1, among others.
Role Overview:
We are in search of a qualified and proactive inspector to oversee all facets of quality assurance, from the procurement of materials through to in-process inspections and final product delivery. A disciplined and hands-on approach to dimensional inspections is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Conduct in-process inspections during manufacturing
⦁ Maintain, calibrate, and upkeep metrology instruments in compliance with ISO9001 standards
⦁ Supervise incoming and outgoing goods inspections
⦁ Generate and investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) while implementing corrective and preventive actions
⦁ Present Key Performance Indicator (KPI) statistics for monthly evaluations
⦁ Ensure the maintenance of ISO9001 accreditation relevant to production processes
Essential Skills and Experience:
⦁ A background in mechanical engineering is preferred
⦁ Familiarity and experience working within an ISO9001 environment are crucial
⦁ The ideal candidate should thrive in a team setting and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to foster and enhance the quality culture within the organization.
