Operational Analysis Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Analysis Consultant to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a leading role in delivering operational analysis capability to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and run analysis models using agile approaches. You will also be responsible for collating, managing, structuring, analysing, and visualising data to derive unique insights that inform senior-level decision making.

As an Operational Analysis Consultant, you will work closely with our clients and our team of consultants and analysts to deliver high-impact services and solutions. You will take a consultative approach to your work, understanding how your contributions contribute to delivering a great result for our clients.

We are looking for a highly motivated and capable individual with strong mathematical skills, experience in software development using Python, and a strong understanding of operational analysis approaches and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and running analysis models
  • Using agile approaches to develop models and tools
  • Collating, managing, structuring, analysing, and visualising data
  • Deriving unique insights from data to inform senior-level decision making
  • Working closely with our clients and our team of consultants and analysts

Requirements:

  • Software development using Python
  • Operational Analysis (OA) approaches and techniques
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Requirements gathering
  • Software design
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Highly numerate
  • A self-starter and team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Desirable skills include experience working within UK MoD, UI/UX design, discrete event simulation, data science techniques, advanced data analysis in Excel, and advanced VBA.
