Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller

About the Role

As a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be a key member of our Water and Environment North team, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hydraulic models for urban drainage and wastewater systems
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  • Prepare and present technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives
  • Conduct checks on technical reports and calculation outputs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography, or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc
  • Substantial experience in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems following the appropriate standards and specifications
  • Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software
  • A solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
