CNC Setter Operator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join our team at Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd. Our client, a leading manufacturer in High Wycombe, is looking for a talented individual to work on intricate components for the Oil and Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including Okuma Millturn machinery, to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Understanding of Turning or Milling operations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and tooling setup.
