Exciting Opportunity for a Workshop Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel generators, working closely with our service team to ensure the highest levels of service and support to our customers.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience working on diesel engines and generators. You will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing faults, and ensuring compliance with our company's health and safety policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance of customer's generators
  • Work closely with external departments and customers
  • Service, fault find, and carry out breakdown repairs
  • Comply with companies Health and Safety policy
  • Logging paperwork correctly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting
  • Familiarity with electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and Alternators)
  • Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection and disassembly
  • Utilization of the proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
