About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support services to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of client care, support, and accommodation, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Lead the delivery of a consistent and high-quality client-centered service, co-produced with service users, in line with Hestia's mission statement and values.
  • Maintain 'good' across all KLOEs as a minimum and strive for 'outstanding'.
  • Effectively manage and implement project operational policy within the relevant legislative framework.
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and review of an annual business plan for the service, aligning with organisational strategic objectives and delivery requirements.
  • Develop and update a live risk register, implementing mitigation actions and interventions, and reviewing the level of each identified risk on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Attained level 5 in health and social care or equivalent.
  • Experience in leadership and management of a team, with the ability to motivate and empower staff to facilitate positive differences for service users.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing services for people with complex mental health needs and understanding the challenges that may present.
  • Empathy for service users and the drive to be positive and assertive in support of recovery.
  • Managerial experience in recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, learning and development, as well as performance management.
  • High-quality housing management experience.
  • Experience in budgetary management and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Experience in developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including service users, family, placement officers, and statutory, community, and voluntary partners.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to manage information, analyse performance, and practice in the team, and make recommendations for change.
  • Understanding of and the ability to implement good Equality, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice.
