Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Woodworking Instructor to join our team at Reed - Further Education. As a Joinery Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching joinery courses with elements of plastering and decorating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging teaching materials and lesson plans.
- Deliver high-quality sessions using various teaching methods.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards.
- Build strong relationships with learners to support their progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, PGCE)
- Level 3 qualification in Joinery
- Experience in classroom-based teaching, preferably with 16-19-year-olds.
- Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check.
