About The Role

Atlas FM is seeking to hire a mobile cleaning operative with a solid background in contract cleaning. This role primarily serves the west midlands region, with occasional assignments further afield.

Compensation: £12.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, with various hours and days, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

This position demands a combination of early and late shifts, so the ideal candidate must be adaptable to the changing needs of the business.

Responsibilities Include:

  • As a member of the Atlas Family, you will dedicate your efforts across various sites, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service for our clients.
  • You will undergo an induction at the start of your contract, receiving comprehensive training within your first week. This will cover cleaning specifications and equipment usage, ensuring you have everything you need to excel.
  • A company van, fuel card, and mobile phone will be provided for your convenience.
  • You will manage site-specific equipment and cleaning supplies (full training will be provided).
  • Responsibilities include replenishing consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and bin liners.
  • You will be tasked with emptying litter bins into designated waste and recycling containers.
  • Maintaining exceptional cleaning standards at all times is crucial.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations is mandatory, and Atlas will ensure you are well-prepared to recognize important safety considerations.
  • Collaborating with a team that is committed to going above and beyond is essential.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A proactive attitude and relevant cleaning experience (though we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a positive and considerate approach).
  • The physical capability to perform the duties required.
  • A basic level of spoken English for effective communication regarding safety and interaction with the public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deliver service with a smile.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • The right to work in the UK (please bring evidence to the interview). This applies to all UK and non-UK nationals.
