The PSP Association is the sole charity in the UK dedicated to providing assistance and information to individuals living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).
Since 1994, we have been raising awareness of these conditions among health and social care professionals and funding research into diagnosis and treatments, primarily relying on voluntary contributions.
We are currently seeking a Support Services Coordinator to become a part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
Compensation: £28,544 per annum (with an additional £2,500 London Weighting allowance for candidates residing in London)- 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of our mission, providing support to those affected by PSP & CBD, directly influencing the lives of individuals and families and assisting them in navigating the challenges of these conditions and accessing the necessary care.
With the flexibility of our hybrid working arrangements, you will achieve a harmonious balance between your professional and personal life.
As a Support Services Coordinator, you will serve as the primary contact for individuals impacted by Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD), offering support and information through phone and email.
In responding to helpline inquiries, you will maintain accurate records of enquiries and proactively reach out to individuals affected by PSP & CBD within your region.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a database of health and social care professionals, conducting awareness and educational sessions, and participating in outreach events to promote our services.
Additionally, you will guide individuals to PSPA Support Groups and external local support services.
- Participate in the planning and execution of information and support events
- Ensure adherence to PSPA policies, procedures, and quality standards
To be considered for the Support Services Coordinator position, you will need:
- Experience in delivering helpline and/or information and support services
- Other organizations may refer to this role as Helpline Advisor, Helpline Officer, Advice Officer, Guidance Officer, Advice & Guidance Advisor, or Guidance Advisor.
