Software Engineer - Algo Trading

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our low latency trading team. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Head of Trading and the Quant Team to design and develop new trading algorithms, mainly Java but also C++.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new trading algorithms using Java and C++
  • Work on connectivity to Financial Exchanges
  • Improve/maintain existing strategies
  • Develop utility applications and excel tools to help with trading activities
  • Work with traders, understand requirements for new applications and strategies to develop and also resolve issues if any

Requirements:

  • Computer Science or Machine learning BSc or Masters or PhD from a top 40 University Globally
  • Excellent Java and/or C++ experience
  • SQL
  • Good understanding of general programming concepts, diligent coder
  • Interest in capital markets/crypto market making a plus
  • FIX would be beneficial
